After a 45-minute ferry crossing to Fraser Island, the tour continues in a comfortable 4WD bus, designed to offer the best possible ride to observe Fraser's untamed wilderness, dramatic dunes, sub-tropical rainforests and crystal clear freshwater lakes. Participants can enjoy the informative commentary from a fully-trained guides as they share their expert local knowledge of the region. After visiting the Maheno shipwreck, participants can swim in the pristine waters of Eli creek, enjoy a tranquil rainforest walk through Yidney Scrub amidst towering satinays and kauri pines, and observe the abundant wildlife and different varieties of birds this island sustains.
