For the second time I had a pleasure to go on the trip with the help of Umfulana.
First time was Namibia (great time) and now it was Australia, Vietnam and Thailand.
And it was perfetc. My wife and mine expectations were met, the quality of accomodation and balance of programme was exactly as agreed (thru adjustments and discussions with Umfulana – thanks for your patience).
Everything was smoooooooth and eeeeeasy, leaving no space for stres and worries.
There was only one very minor case in Bangkok when I had to call Umfulana and Gabi responce was faster then light:-) – situation was resolved in minutes.
So, thanks all in Umfulana and I am looking forward to see another adventure with You.
Thank you and all the best!!!

Hi there,
We had a wonderful time (as always).
The B&B in Melbourne was excellent and Trevor I think his name is, introduced us to the art of going on public transportation and made us feel at home. A very nice person and simply excellent. Could not have been better.
The Retreat in Apollo Bay was nice and beautifully situated and we got very good suggestions of what to see. The outdoor spa and pool did not work, however, and when I pointed out that the VCR (video) apperently needed to be fixed (cleaning of the head), Bill knew that it was out of touch (needed to have a service or replacement.) And when that was not a surprise to him, I kind of wonder how long the pool and spa had been out of order.....???
It was a disappointment that the spa did not work, because it was really cold and we would have enjoyed that.
The roaring fire in the living room was nice and we enjoyed our stay, anyway.
Port Fairy: The Hotel was very nice indeed and Port Fairy a very nice place to stay.
Pomonal, Grampians: Very nice and hospitable. Enjoyed Mrs. Welch's cooking. Very good and nice hosts. Helped us to wash some clothes, too.
Robe: Very pleasant in the middle of town and we realy enjoyed it.
Barossa Valley: Stonewell Cottages, Tanunda. Simply a lovely place and the cottage had everything. You could not ask for more!!
Kangaroo Island: Very nice and hospitable. Nice wilderness tour and the car and everything worked fine. The dirt roads of the island are terrible. A 4-WD (four wheel drive) type Land Rover would be preferable, but the man from Hertz warned us and we drove slowly and stayed on the paved roads as much as possible. We also went with Peter and saw the penguins in Kingscote. He was a superb guide. [...]
Potts Point, Sydney. Very nice and central. Excellent service.
Yes, that's it!! And up here on the fjord we have -2 degrees and a mild snowfall and the mountains are all covered with snow!!
Greetings from Henry and Nordfjordeid |

An excellent and well researched choice of hotels was encountered. Mainly family run, the staff were excellent and hard working. The cuisine was first rate too. The tour was obviously designed around couples, but even for two guys (not a couple!) it was still great.
Other than Munich, we knew nothing about the places we were going too, but once there soon familiarised ourselves with these beautiful towns and cities. Having travelled extensively I can safely say that the region of Bavaria and the Black Forest is one of the finest I have been to.
I will certainly go again and Umfulana wll be recommended to friends. |

Hello Jerry
Finally gotten over the jet lag. Our trip was fantastic. Most of the accomadation was great. The only one we were a bit dissapointed with was Sleeping Beauty's Castle – it was under renovations but the food there was fantastic. Also the lady on reception was not helpfull, but their saving grace was their waitress – an older lady she was brillant.
Travelling around Germany was easy with the Navman & your directions.
Thanks so much!
I have reccommended your company to a few people.
Thanks again
Anita |
