Accommodation: Vila Bled The former residence of Yugoslavian president Tito is set in a 5 hectare park on the shore of Lake Bled. The stately mansion was built by the royal Windisch-Grätz family in the early 20th century and served as their summer residence. The property was fully renovated in 2004 and now features a wellness facility with Finnish and Turkish saunas. Tennis courts, a private beach and rowboats are available to guests. Hosts Vlado and Zdenka rebuilt the property following the civil war that rocked the region in the early 1990s.
