Tranquil location: Farmhouse in the National Park

Accommodation: A farm near Rakovic
The farmstead is tucked away among the wooded hills of Plitvice National Park. Hosts Vlado and Zdenka rebuilt the property following the civil war that rocked the region in the early 1990s. The rooms are simple and clean, the architectural style with its curved arches harmonizes with the idyllic countryside in which the property is nestled. Two covered verandas provide excellent places to read or simply relax. It won't take long to discover why the pleasant B&B is named "Ruhige Lage," which means "tranquil location" in German. After a good night's sleep, guests can look forward to a hearty Croatian breakfast with plenty of ham, salami, eggs, cheese and homemade bread.
