| The voltage in Namibia is 220/230 volts, AC 50Hz and the configuration of the sockets is different, they use standard round pin, 3 point, 15amp plugs. Therefore you have to buy adapters which are purchasable for little money almost everywhere as many appliances in Southern Africa also have two point plugs. For safety reasons some sockets have a switcher, before switching on your appliances make sure the plug is switched on. |
