Of course does crime exists in Namibia, but it is still one of the safest countries in Africa. However, tourists are affected to a lesser extent compared to local black people in the townships, locations, and informal settlements, as well as white farmers in remote areas.
Up to now non of Umfulana´s clients reported any incident. Therefor we still encourage our clients to discover the country individually.
As rules try to keep the following tips in mind:
-do not leave valuable articles or money viewable in the car
-park the car in secure paring areas in cities
-avoid night drives and dangerous areas
-do not wear eye-catching jewelery
-look after your cameras and phones |
