| Due to the dryness in whole Namibia Golf courses are rare. Worthy of mention is the desert Golf course of Swakopmund. The course, situated in the middle of the Namib Desert, is truly spectacular. The course lies at the dry riverbed of the Swakop Rivier, some 5 kilometers outside of Swakopmund. The fairways are green throughout and are permanently irrigated. Expect to see springbok and numerous birds and even the odd antelope during play. The club house is modern and offers a bar, restaurant and driving range. |
