Accommodation: Kulala Wilderness Camp (Tented Camp) The camp consists of six Meru-style tents with en suite bathrooms with showers. Hot water is solar heated. The tents are linked to the main dining room, bar, reception area and swimming pool by gravel pathways. The interiors are simple yet comfortable and have solar powered 12V lighting and overhead fans. The main dining area, pub and reception are built from stout timber and canvas with thatch roofing. There is a fully stocked bar, and traditional three course meals are served at dinner. At night, lanterns light the main area, and a full breakfast is served there in the mornings. This camp is best suited to the self-drive guest, or guests on guided safari. Accommodation is on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. Activities are laid on at an additional cost. Accommodation: Ongava Game Lodge Ongava Lodge has 10 chalets which are attractively built out of brick and thatch close to the top of a hill. Each chalet has an en-suite bathroom. There is air-conditioning in the rooms and overhead fans. The rooms have glass fronted doors which lead out onto a private covered veranda overlooking the bush. The main lounge, bar and dining area are also under thatch with wonderful views across the plains and floodlit waterhole below. Outdoor dining under the stars, whilst viewing game drinking at the waterhole is something never to be forgotten. There is also a swimming pool and a large curio shop. As the lodge is built close to the top of a hill, there are several steps. If you cannot climb steps, we suggest you book into Ongava Tented Camp. Mornings are normally spent within Etosha National Park, returning to Ongava in time for a well earn ed lunch. After tea, guests head out onto the private reserve to enjoy more fl o ra and fauna.
