Gocheganas Nature Reserve & Wellness Village is situated south-east of Windhoek on a Private Nature Reserve. The lodge is sited on a hilltop overlooking a spectacular landscape; and offers a unique combination of Wildlife, Nature and Wellness experiences. The architecture and decor incorporates local arts and crafts in celebration of the culture of Namibia. Guests are accommodated in private chalets under thatched roof with uninterrupted and spectacular views over the surrounding Private Nature Reserve. Complimenting and enhancing the Lodge, is the Wellness Village, boasting state of the art wellness facilities, as well as a heated indoor pool, cave sauna and fitness and gym facilities.

Accommodation: Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp
The lodge is situated 20km from Sesriem, the entrance to the dunes of Sussusvlei. It is part of a private reserve of 20 000 hectares. The chalets are built on top of a hill and offer grandiose views. Each has its own pool. The early morning excursions by open Jeep to Sossusvlei with breakfast in the desert under a camelthorn tree are unbeatable. In the afternoon trips on the own reserve are offered. Desert animals like oryx antelopes, ostrich and springbuck can be photographed against a breathtaking background. If you take part in a night trip, you can see hyenas, desert foxes and the strange, highly specialized aardvark. The stories and comments by the game wardens leave you amazed at the imagination and tenacity of nature under extreme conditions.

Even though part of the Vingerklip tumbled down when there was an earthquake in the early 90's, the Lodge still has a stunning view of the stone statue, which is part of the Ugab Mountain range. From the Sundowner terrace one has an exquisite panoramic view of the expanse of Damaraland.
A day trip to Twyfelfontein, Burnt Mountain and the Petrified Forest is well worth it. An easy 30 min walk to the Vingerklip can also be undertaken, and other hiking trails lead out from the Lodge. The Lodge has 2 swimming pools.

Accommodation: Ongave Game Lodge
Ongava Lodge has 10 chalets which are attractively built out of brick and thatch close to the top of a hill. Each chalet has an en-suite bathroom. There is air-conditioning in the rooms and overhead fans. The rooms have glass fronted doors which lead out onto a private covered veranda overlooking the bush. The main lounge, bar and dining area are also under thatch with wonderful views across the plains and floodlit waterhole below. Outdoor dining under the stars, whilst viewing game drinking at the waterhole is something never to be forgotten. There is also a swimming pool and a large curio shop. As the lodge is built close to the top of a hill, there are several steps. If you cannot climb steps, we suggest you book into Ongava Tented Camp.
Mornings are normally spent within Etosha National Park, returning to Ongava in time for a well earned lunch. After tea, guests head out onto the private reserve to enjoy more flora and fauna. The option of tracking white rhino on foot is available as are night drives Additional activities could also include full day excursions into Etosha National Park, taking along a picnic, subject to availability of vehicles and also a visit to one of the hides on the property. Private vehicles can be booked at an additional charge subject to availability either prior to departure or directly with the Camp Manager.

In 1996 a new wing was added in the same style as the old fort with 16 beautiful en-suite rooms.
