Accommodation: A fort overlooking Windhoek
Built in 1914, the fort was commissioned by Count Schwerin for his wife to be, Margarethe von Heinitz. Today the fort is a hotel with a beautiful view of Windhoek. Only a two minute drive from the centre of the city, it offers a combination of 19th century charm and modern comforts.
In 1996 a new wing was added in the same style as the old fort with 16 beautiful en-suite rooms. The rooms are comfortable and luxurious with 4-poster beds, Italian ceramic tiles and hand-made furniture. The kitchen is renowned for its excellent cuisine. 2nd day: Waterberg

Accommodation: A historical pioneer farm
The guest farm is located at the foot of Waterberg Mountain among thick bush. Giant bamboo and other tropical vegetation attract countless bird species to the area. More than 200 species have been catalogued. Drives and walks to the Otjosongombe gorge and the Waterberg Plateau can be organised from the guest farm. Outstanding meals are prepared in the farm kitchen. A swimming pool is available.

4th day: Etosha Park-Süd

Okaukuejo is located at the southern entrance to the park. It is the best and quietest of all the Etosha camps. A waterhole in close proximity to the camp attracts game, especially in the winter months. Game can be viewed during the night as permanent floodlights illuminate the waterhole. Namibia's hidden wildlife paradise in the Caprivi where time stands still. Divava Lodge (formally known as Suclabo Okavango Lodge) is nestled amongst majestic trees on the banks of the Okavango River a few hundred metres from Popa Falls. Fondly referred to by the locals as Paradishi Ghomumbiru (Little Paradise). Divava Lodge offers an exquisite view over the Okavango River with excellent opportunities for bird watching. The large garden contains many bird species and crocodile and hippopotamus can be frequently seen along the river. The lodge is situated close to the Mahango Game Reserve, which is celebrated for it's abundance of game species such as elephant, buffalo, sable and roan antelope, bushbuck, reedbuck and tsessebe.
Divava Lodge offers comfortable chalets, a bush bar, restaurant, swimming pool and a viewing deck overlooking the Okavango River. Boat cruises to the Popa Falls to view hippo and crocodiles and game-viewing trips to the Mahango Game Reserve.

8th day: Mudumu National Park

Lianshulu is the only Private Lodge in the Mudumo National Park in the Caprivi. The view from the Lodge deck extends over the Kwando River and Floodplains. The Kwando river later becomes the Chobe River. Across the river is the Botswana wilderness area, and much game comes down to the river to quench its thirst. Many hippos frequent the river pools and duck under water when the Lianshulu river boats pass over, only to emerge again a few meters behind the boat. Dinners are enjoyed on the deck under the evening sky.

Kubu Lodge is idyllically set beneath giant ebony and wild fig trees, on the banks of the Chobe River. Comfortable thatched chalets on stilts overlook a shaded lawn and have panoramic views. They offer excellent home cooking in a centrally located thatched restaurant, with a bar and wine cellar. A private secluded swimming pool is available.

There are a number of activities, amongst others, game drives or boat cruises into the Chobe National Park, for a variety of big game and birdlife. A nature trail that meanders through some pristine indigenous riverine habitat on the Chobe.
