We throughly enjoyed our month-long tour of New Zealand arranged by Umfulana. The itinerary covered both the South and North Islands taking us to many remote places that we would not have thought to include had we been arranging it ourselves and were not included when we spoke to other tour operators. The suggestions that Umfulana gave about things to do and places to eat were really helpful and added a lot to our enjoyment of the trip. All the arrangments for the rental car, the ferry, and our lodings were perfect. Everything was ready for us when we arrived at each venue..
We stayed in wonderful B&B’s. Each one had something special to offer. The people who ran the lodings made our stays even better by being so warm and friendly. We were often asked to join them for appetizers and wine in the evening, had them join us to share our wine, and were treated as friends rather than customers. It was a wonderful way to get to know how people thought and lived in the country.
We want to thank Umfulana and particularly Susanne Bonnemann for such a great trip.
