| There are more than eleven official languages in South Africa, like English, Zulu or Afrikaans for example, and many more dialects. But you can travel through the country with English without any problem. Afrikaans is the language of the descendants of the Boers and is very similar to German and Dodge. Even German you will find spoken in some areas, for example around Hermansburg in KwaZulu-Natal. All over the country there are several German schools and churches. |
