The medical care in private hospitals has the same standard like in Europe. You find doctors under "medical practitioners" in the telephone book. Chemistīs stores or drugstores are called pharmacy.
Before your trip you should make sure that your health insurance is also valid for foreign countries or if you need to take out an extra insurance. Usually you have to advance the money, as hospitals and doctors request direct payment with cash or credit card, and hand in the invoice after your return to your insurance company. |
