The small town in Corsica's south-west is located on the Gulf of Valinco and surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and fertile fields. Because of ideal water sports conditions, the former fishing village has become a lively resort. A cheerful holiday atmosphere prevails in its beautiful village center, at the marina and around the colorful harbor restaurants. Nearby are the sandy beaches of Portigliolo or Campomoro. From Campomoro a 15-minute coastal path leads to a Genoese tower, from which one has a beautiful view across the Gulf.
